Notes : Built by Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) as 'Consolidation' CP #3916, class N3b. (1912). It was renumbered to 3#716 after a rebuild in 1929 and put into class N2b, and active in the west until they were replaced by the more powerful 2-8-2 'Mikado' steam engines. It has been restored at Drake St. shops in Vancouver, B.C. and used for backup service for the Royal Hudson Steam train, running between Vancouver and Squamish, B.C., until 1999. In 2003, #3716 went to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway in Summerland, B.C. and is now being restored to operational conditions. ___________________________________________________________________________________________
